David Marmon brings 12 years of strength & conditioning experience to the Williamsburg community. He has worked in both the collegiate and private settings. Most recently, David directed the Performance Training programs at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC) following 2 years as the Performance Director at CORE FITNESS Performance Training Center in Williamsburg, VA.
Prior to his time in the private sector, he served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Washington, Indiana State University, the University of Iowa, the College of William & Mary, and Georgia Southern University. He did his strength & conditioning internship at the University of Miami (FL) with their football program. David is currently the Speed, Strength & Conditioning Coach for the College of William & Mary Men & Women's Soccer programs.
David has a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Health Promotion with a Business minor. He later earned a Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University in Kinesiology. Marmon is certified as a strength & conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). David is a Level 1 certified CrossFit coach. He also is a Level 1 club coach through USA Weightlifting.
Marmon’s clientele consists of Olympians, Professional Athletes, Collegiate Student-Athletes, Working Professionals, Stay-at-home Moms, and Retirees. David enjoys working with clients who are passionate about self improvement.
